OUR MINIBEAST SAFARI

This term our theme is growing and changing. We currently have tadpoles that are developing in tadpoles and caterpillars that, with care, will pupate into butterflies.

Some children also held our Giant Land Snail that came for a visit from FS2

This week, the children have been on a minibeast safari. They went into our outdoor space armed with magnifying glasses and 'minibeast spotter guides' to look for bugs.

WE CELEBRATED THE ROYAL WEDDING IN STYLE !

FS 1 celebrated the Royal Wedding the week before and after the Royal Wedding. It has been 30 years since a future King and Queen married (Charles and Diana) and it will possibly be another 30 years before this event happens again, which is why we thought that it was so important to celebrate. Please enjoy the photographs of the activities that the children have been doing and, as always, remember to ask your child all about it.

We made tiaras to wear to the wedding

We looked at lots of photos of Royal weddings in the past.

Some children chose to make crowns

We made buns and iced biscuits for the street party.

We had our own Royal Weddings. Unfortunately one of the brides said 'No'.

We followed the wedding with a street party.

A toast to the newly weds.

We had a bouncy castle.

All finished off with a toast to the newly weds ! We've all had a fantastic time preparing for our celebrations, and have enjoyed watching highlights from William and Catherine's wedding this week. The children have been telling us about watching it and what they did at home.
